Crystal Lake Age: 22 Heritage: Wizarding Father: David Lake (nee Tarus - he took his wife’s name to distance himself from his wayward and evil brother, Derek Tarus.) (British). Mother: Vevina Lake (British). House: Ravenclaw. Positions of responsibility: Chaser on the (unbeaten) Ravenclaw Quidditch Team. Best Friends: Nerak Tolstenold, Gemini Tarus. Three adjectives to describe Crystal: Sentimental, Loyal, Fair. Ambitions at school: Crystal never really gave much thought to what she wanted to do after Hogwarts. Something involving Charms… Achievements since graduating: Crystal left Hogwarts in her fifth year when she was offered a scholarship at, Hopelands Hall for Higher Academic Achievements, a private institute for the best Charms students in the land. Crystal despised it, and longed to return to Hogwarts but her parents were so proud of her, she couldn’t bear to tell them she wanted to leave. After graduating from Hopelands, Crystal returned to Hogwarts, as Charm Professor of course, where her cousin Gem was Quidditch Coach. However upon her return to Hogwarts she found it burned to the ground and that the culprit, Prince John-Paul, had disappeared, taking Gem, Brooke and Derek Taurus with him. Naturally, Crystal wasn’t overjoyed that her cousin, friend and ‘favourite’ uncle had run away with a psychotic killer. She slowly went to pieces, as one would, and eventually quit as Charms Professor. Crystal was then offered the post as Quidditch Coach, taking over from Serenity Gates. She saw this as a chance to get over Gem, seeing as it was once her job… Yes, yes, it doesn’t make sense, but it did to Crystal. Anyway, she is currently Quidditch Coach at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
